Those headers are beautiful! Where did you source the large radius bends for them? Mild steel I assume?

They look DAMN sexy! (But you already knew that!)

Thanks man! Yes they are mild steel. The manderal bent bends were from SPD but I bought them through Rodger at Ironworks. The tubing was very nice to work with and fit very well. I was a little surprised to be honest. I have a few extra bends if you are looking for a few that i could sell. Talk to you later

Awesome build! And beautiful job on the headers. That raised bed floor is a great idea.

I got more done about 2-3 weeks ago but i forgot to post over here. I guess with all the madness of trying to get stuff done it must slipped my mind. Anyways i was able to get the new rear end installed, fab'd up all new brackets, built a new gas tank (the top of the gas tank isn't welded yet just sitting on there), get the motor and tranny installed, started the exhaust (still trying to figure out how i want the exhust to exit) and started planning the sheetmetal intake and vavle covers i want to build. After that was done i wanted to see how everything looked so i rolled it outside and took a few pics. Let me know what you think!

Here is a pic of most of the sheetmetal installed. It sits about 1.25" off the ground to the rockers

And here is a pic of the ride height

I haven't updated my thread on here for a while even though i have made more progress so i thought i would update it a little. Basically i have moved into a new shop for my business that allows has some extra space that i am able to work on my truck in. I recently built new inner fenders for the bed and completely reskined the inside of the bed. Wanted something clean and smooth. I also got most of the wood for the bed finished. I still have alot to do in the bed but its starting to look like a bed!! Here are some pics. The wood and the stainless flat bar are not fully bolted down yet so that is why some look slightly higher than others. When i am all done it will be flush with the wood.

More and I ran short of the stainless steel flat bar so that is why some are missing and why there is mild steel flat bar in some spots. I will get a pic when i get more stainless and have them fully installed.

I love this build. This is my dream truck. I've been looking for a cheap one to DD and restore. Is this posted on 67-72chevytrucks.com?
