if i can remember, i cut two coils off each spring. other than that all of the suspension is bolt in as is, and no mods were necessary to fit the wheels. although if i could do it again, i would go 5" bs on the front just to pull the wheels in a little more.

You might have ordered the lowering springs for BBC as they are taller than the Hotchkis springs made for SBC, although both types have the same spring rate. That's why you had to cut 2 coils.

ive actually gone through two sets of sbc springs, one set was lower when i had different wheels on the car, when i switched it was too low
