The info I have is 9 months old, so please 2x check. I called Rick 1st Gen and they quoted me $1099.99 for a complete RS Grill with the Detroit Speed electronic headlight door openers. The DSE door openers are $419 by themselves, so to get them as a complete kit would be nice. The part # for the kit was DS-67. The info I have is a little old, so if the price and kit is still available, post updated info on this thread if you can.

Another option would be to call Frank at Prodigy Customs (site sponsor). He might be able to put a kit together also.

it would take 2 sources on your part, but there is a guy on Camaros.net that is selling an electric kit for existing RS's and he's using mid-size GM motors. (from like a Saturn or Firebird)

you could then order the headlight door pieces from one of the vendors like Paddock, Classic Camaro, Ricks 1st Gen/(whatever their new name is), or NPD.
