      Another back spacre question

      Guy's will a 10in wide wheel with 4in backspacing fit on a 69 camaro that has been minitubbed with a stock width axle,oh with a 295/50/15in tire.THANKS!

      nope, your gonna want to go in more than that. 6" BS would be a better number.

      To run that rim size properly you will need to narrow the rear end a bit. You looking for a nice deep lip rim?

      MrQuick is correct, those are going the wrong direction on backspacing. We generally use 5.5" backspacing on a 10" wheel for the 69. If you go with less backspacing, it moves the wheel outwards, so it will hit the fender lip.

      For a stock width axle, you only gain the ability to run a wider wheel than 10", but these inches are added to the backside of the wheel, not the front.
