2000 Camaro Brake Booster - HELP!

I finished installing C4 front calipers and 2000 Camaro booster and master cylinder (after modifying the booster) on my 69 GTO and the booster doesn’t seem to work??

It fells the same with the engine running or not. I do have the vacuum hooked up and I have a new check valve.
I have no assist…the car does stop but it’s like I have manual brakes.

Could the booster be bad? How can you tell?

Is there another booster that will bolt up and work with the MC I have?
I do not want to modify another booster; really just want to finish and drive.

      Thanks

Put your foot on the pedal and start the car...does the pedal sink, rise, or not move? If the booster is functioning, it should sink a little. If the diaphragm is bad, it will typically push back and rise, making braking actually harder than if the engine were not running.

I assume you're hooked up to intake vacuum, not ported vacuum, right?

      Just checked it
It does nothing, doesn't go down or kick up.
Does this mean the booster is bad?

Any recomendations for something that will fit with out modification.

      thanks

What did you change on it to make it work with your car? I've done a few and broke the first one I modded.

I welded metal to the bracket so i would not have to mess with the firewall. Also put a sleave on the rod...see picture (sorry its the only one i have).
