The windsheild and backlite are hardcoated lexan from Sheilds Products in Martinsville, In. http://www.racingshields.com/index_files/products.htm

They make a pre-formed product that is about 1" oversized so we could trim them to fit in the oem widow openings. The clarity and durability are great. We tested some samples with different abrasives and cleaning solutions before committing to using them. The cost was around 1k for both pieces. We spent a day or 2 working out the final fitment and sealing issues. It's a great look in person.

Percy's has the equivilent called Speedglass. Not exactly DOT legal to use for the windshield in a street car but who cares when it looks that good huh?

Bret, I was talking to Greg over at Dynatech about his headers for my 1st Gen with an LS2 . I know they're designed around Detroit Speed mounts but according to DSE those mounts are only for their hydroformed subframe and wont work on a stock subframe. You have them on a stock frame, what did you do and what fitment issues did you run into with other things if any? What did you do for oil pan? Thanks

The oil pan is the one that came on the motor from world products- the headers fit with out any mods on the stock frame- in fact they fit really super nice- we put them on with the motor bolted in, steering box in
They look and fit great, only thing we don’t know what they sound like yet! But I am sure I will like that too!
Also the mounts fit fine on the stock frame.

It is a urethane mixture of paint, clear, rock guard, reducer, and hardener.

ridetech guys, earlier in this thread it says you guys used Detroit Speed motor mounts but those are clearly ATS mount plates. Is that what's in there with that header clearance? I've got ATS plates but not the budget for their headers.

What I'm thinking of trying is to swap them to opposite sides so the ATS logo is upside down but the motor mount is right side up and try the Stainless Works headers. According to my rough measurements my ATS plates dimensions match those on this thread:

      https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=41028

I'm a ways away from the test fit though. If they're in fact ATS plates, what brake booster are you running and are there any fitment issues with it or the Dynatech headers? Thanks and beautiful car!!

The adapter plates on the block are ATS – motor mounts and the frame mounts are DSE, sorry for any confusion
