      Front disc conversion for ford?

I have a 65 galaxie 500 that has 4wheel drums and they are worn out. Does anybody know of a disc conversion for the front of this car? The cheaper the better. If some other ford car uses the same spindle or brakes that I could uses. There are not a lot of options out there for these cars, and I don't think that Mustang brakes would fit. Everything on this car is stock, and if I'm going to spend money to get the brakes working again, it will not be in drums. I don't want top of the line stuff yet, but i would just like to go ahead and convert, with the intentions of upgrading later.

Do you know if it shares the Mustang spindle? Would be nice if they did.

I'm not sure, but if I had to guess, I would say no.....

Does anybody know the answer to this?

I'm a Chevy guy so I have no clue.

      Different spindle than the Mustang/Cougar.

The only company I'm aware of that currently offers an inexpensive front disc kit for the early Ford Galaxy application is Scarebird...it looks like a standard GM metric caliper kit with unknown rotor, although it appears to use a spacer on the inner wheel bearing, so I imagine it's a GM rotor as well.
