      Track day Video

On Feb 8 my friends and I did a track day at Streets of Willow Springs with Speed Ventures. It was their first time and as expected they are hooked. I defiantly missed the days of beating Ole blue on the track and passing stock M3s like no ones business. This time I decided to bring cameras and buy a decent mount to get some extra angles. Hope you enjoy the video. It was by far the hardest one I have ever made. So much video to go thru. I hated hitting delete on scenes, but I find videos need to be under 5 minutes to keep the interest.

      Enjoy.

$150 at Streets plus $10 per person entry to track fee. The transponder (timing) adds another $20

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?

Very cool Vid! It would be great to do something like that with more Pro-touring cars...I'd buy it!

I'd love to do a video with more vintage iron. Now we just have to have the planets align so that we can get a few PTers to do a trackday together.

Good to see you back and looks like married life is treating you well.

I wish I can get the cars back on the track again. Well at least keep them long enough to. Buttonwillow's been calling.

Hey, I wanted to ask you since you are from the south. What is that track they are building right off of Hwy 58? Looks like a ginormous oval with a very large road coarse in the center.

If it's the one just East of Mojave you're talking about, it's Kia/Hyundai Proving Ground. By looking at Google Earth, it is huge compared to Willow Springs.
The first step of becoming a better driver is to attend a track event, time yourself, and realize the fact you really suck.

      Signed,
A driver who laps Big Willow at 1:42.6 in a 134hp BMW - and I am still considered mediocre.
