      one touch down windows

Is anyone running this type of system in their car? If so, did you modify an existing door module from a newer car, or was it part of a kit?

      Thank you.

Most people who have adapted this type of setup grab the complete setup from a donor car. Search this thread for a guy who did this on his 67/8 F-body with parts from a caprice I think.

I think you can upgrade the kits at www.autoloc.com for this feature.

Thanks for the replies, I have a few ideas that might also work. If I recell correctly most of the logic and the relays are built into the switch, so it might be easiest (and cheaper) to find a swtich set I like and look for one in a wrecking yard. one touch down and up would be REALLY nice to have.....

Dodge Durangos use a 1-touch switch for the driver window only. It is a fairly small switch and could easily be incorpoarted into just about any bezel.

i know for my 96 the switch is the same whether you have auto down or not. theres a module that controls the auto function. heres a write up on making the passenger side window an auto down. maybe this info can help some how.
