My bad - your right I was thinking of the 6.0 in the TBSS.

Killer looking swap - the trans going to hold up? I imagine the torque and hp ratings on that v8 are a bit higher then the inline 5 cylinder...

Yeah guys who have swapped haven't had any trans problems yet, the stock trans is a 4L60-E I just need a new bell housing for it

Swapped out the oil pickup since I have to use a LH8 oil pan (colorado/canyon/h3) since the silverado one won't work, and the oil pickup was too long so I had to use a LH8 one. However I did get a new windage tray but I saw no need to swap it out.

LH8 pan, it will be staying the cast aluminum color

and another reason why I can't use the pan

Great build codered. I cheated on my Colorado as I went out and bought a 2011 Canyon ZQ8 V8 truck. Wife allowed it as I needed 4 doors. LOL

      Keep up the great work!

Oh I'm on there. I just don't mod my trucks anymore. Everytime I do someone runs into them. This V8 truck really doesn't need anything other than a colour matched grill. I'd love to find an intake but at over $300 for one, I'll pass as that money is for pro touring my Duster.

      Looking good Geeds.

Is there any particular reason you went with aftermarket engine mounts vs OEM?

      Is the chassis/k-member different?

Did you rattle can the hood?

I was worried that it would look splotchy - but looks like it dried uniformly.

Good call, then you get sick of it just peel. Love the truck and I really am not a fan of little trucks.
