      Dual Sync Distributors

Does anyone have any experience with MSD Dual Sync distributors specifically p/n 2345 or 85502. Is the adjustable cam sync of p/n 2345 necessary for most ECUs (Big Stuff3 or the new FAST XFI box) or is the fixed 45 degree reference prior to #1 firing of the 85502 model sufficient?

If an adjustable model is necessary, any idea on how the cam signal position is verified in relation to #1?

      Thanks,
      Mike

I am just guessing here, but I bet you set the distributor at #1 and then do something in the software to let it know that it is at TDC on #1. From then on, the software also knows the firing order so it can fire the appropriate injector at the right time.
