Nelson Racings new LSX twin turbo headers

Just got to mocking up my new 321 stainless LSX headers from Tom Nelson at http://www.nelsonracingengines.com/. He did a fantastic job, quality is amazing. These clear the early muscle cars and you have the option of locating your turbos where you'd like them as he makes the band clamped extension for the turbo mounting as required. They clear the Synister front drive I'm running, but can be located where you want to clear other arrangements. They also have been changed to clear the taller aftermarket valve covers that many want to run, in my case the beautiful carbon fiber units from John at http://www.carbonfibervalvecovers.com
I especially like how Tom got them low in the chassis which is going to allow the downpipes to run under the header and give tons of hood clearance, as well as keep the weight and heat lower in the engine compartment.

      Jody,

With SEMA just around the corner..do you think you'll have it
all dialed in? Paint work, fabrication, and interior? And also tuning
in the new engine? Looks like the next few weeks are going to
be busy.Any body shots as of yet? Your doing most of the work?

Looks like allot of work ahead for one guy...

      Your one busy dude!

      Jim,

it's not making SEMA. It will be on next years Power Tour. Yes, I'm doing the paint, fab, and assembly along with tuning, so everything seems to take longer than I want it to.

came with the Nelson header/wastegate setup. Not sure where Tom gets them.

Thanks for the nice words, but your truck is VERY trick. Should be fun next year.

haven't settled on a color or wheel yet. I have the 5 spokes now but will likely buy the 10 spokes in the future. The color choice is kicking my butt, but I'm leaning towards the darker one.

that's a non-finished Carter Hickman rendering. I am going with a similar color. No rush on the wideband. At some point I'll be up there or you'll be down here.
