      problem solved!

well guys last night i retorqed the headgaskets and added a can of coolant sealant for ins and that took care of that problem, then i changed the power valve to a 7.5 and up'd the jets a bit.....started it up and tested it and it still had a stumble, so for giggles we set the sqiurters to zero lash....bingo!!! stumble gone!!! before that it was set at .15 as speced by holley....wierd. anyway seems good, now if i can get some nice weather for weds i'll see what she can do......

I am sure the Accelerator pump lash was the final step, but I think the other items will really help the overall power and drivability of the car.

      Glad you got it fixed.

i wouldnt say it was a wrong accel pump, but i kept setting it to holley spec and it had a continued stumble, i set it to zero and it was gone! i also changed jetting and powervalves several times they helped a bit but 80% of it was the accel pump adjustment....ya i know wierd!
