      BBC T56 Help Needed!

OK, the time is getting close for the 454 engine and T56 trans to go in the 70 Chevelle, and I have questions. Lets start with bleeding the Hydraulic throw out while its in the car, that will be just about impossible since after installing the throw-out (stock GM Hydraulic) on the trans I notice that the bleed screw is just about inaccessable, tight fit, I'm thinking about getting a bleed line run so I can access it from below, maybe Mcleod sells one. Am I on the right track?
Now for another, I'm using a Zoom street strip clutch, is there anyway to set the clutch, throw out before it goes in the car. I'm just trying to avoid the hassle of pulling everything back out just to add shims, or are they even needed on a stock GM hydraulic throw out. This is my first time dealing with hydraulic throw outs. Please I need to here from Guys running BBC's mated to T56's

Are you using an LT1 style T56 with a pull clutch or the LS1 style T56 with the hydraulic throw out bearing inside the bellhousing?

SOmeone on LS1TECH.com sells a longer bleed line. Look in the manual trans section of that site.

Well I solved my problem with the bleed line by taking the old one and cutting about an inch off the end and welding it to the new one, then turning the end of it to accept a 1/4 line to slip on to drain the fluid. Now it sticks out of the bellhousing about an inch so I can get an open end wrench on it and drain without the fluid getting back on the clutch.
Its a T56 from a '99 LS1, and I still need help setting the Throw out Please.

Its the stock bellhousing that came on the trans, Master cylinder behind the clutch not on the side of the bellhousing, I'm using an adapter from ATS that will let it bolt right up to the Big Block, its 3/8 thick, then you put the 3/8 spacer behind the throw out to bring it back to spec, I just don't know if you are suppose to shim it more to get the right amount of space between it and the fingers on the clutch. I don't see how there can be a gap anyway cause the Throw out has a spring on it that keeps it against the clutch, lightly I'm sure.
