Are you going to be able to fill the tank from the stock position or will you need to open the trunk?

Going by these pics you sent me I would guess MINE!!!

The major bodywork is done and the car went to the spray booth to have the worked areas primered. Then some more finish body work and paint.

Also, the floor of the trunk was finished and painted with the fuel cell mount welded in place.

Your still going with the prowler orange paint?

I do like that the whole car is getting done, those rear body lines
sure are nice and crisp looking, one of the best features of a first
gen body. And congrats on going to Sema! I know you'll be busy
eating hot dogs and checking out the younger on "display" models.

Yep.. except the engine bay. Even though it will be the same color BOS wanted to make sure the paint absolutly matched perfectly. They really take pride in what they put thier names on.

      Looking good Steve!
Are you going to have an article in PHR on the installation of the Fuel Safe Cell? I've got a bunch of questions but will save them if there is going to be an article. The only one I'm anxious to here is cost of the cell....

I don't know.. I was pushing for a story on gas tanks (what type for what application, etc). Don't know if it will get green lighted. I'm shooting it like there will be a story.

Anyways, feel free to ask any questions. My tank was $1800 with the internal Bosch pump, custom "hat" lid, and aluminum box (lighter than steel)

They have many tanks in many different price catagories, The quality seems very good and the safety aspects are second to none. Mine is the 18gal Sportsman model.

How much of the trunk did you replace? It looks like you replaced a substantial portion to me. Any more pics? It's going to look hot!
