I'll have a few as soon as my bro emails them to me. You'd be surprised how hard it is to take pictures and drive Road Atlanta all at the same time.

David Sloan is shotgun with John. The car looked awesome on the track, coming through the corner flat as can be looking like John was not pushing it at all, but staying with the other cars in the group which all seemed to be on the edge.

I cant thank John enough for letting me ride with him.
It sure made leaving the red car at home a lot easier.
This car is just sick. we hit 140 on the back straight away with very little effort. It sticks in the corners like glue. What a blast!!!
Thanks John. you are the man!!
      PS.
Andrew if you see this iam sorry that you didnt get to do the other 20min. session.

Kenny Wayne is big buds with Kevin King. He is at all the Year One events and will also be on Power Tour again this year. Great guy, besides the fact he is one of the best guitar players in the biz right now IMO.

I was sure digging the track time. I only got to run one session: I was black-flagged due to so-called exhaust noise. They have a noise ordinance on Sunday mornings. I think I took the fall for the silver 2nd gen Camaro that ran behind me in our group.

But ... while we were on the track, we passed three other groups and were the fastest of the B groups. The best laps were when I got to follow the pace car. I think he was skeptical that a Chevy II could keep up with him. No problem.

I was a little weak in the S-curves because I wasn't sure of the line, but otherwise the car didn't use the whole track, and I felt like I was about 80% of the car's capability. That's with it on the street suspension settings. I've yet to try out the race settings.

I need to improve the brake pedal linkage, orient the brake bias more to the front, increase the rear stiffness, and add a power steering cooler.

There's an event at Sebring here in Florida I'm hoping to run in August.

Let me guess, power steering fluid coming out the top of the reservoir? I had the same problem at Road America. I would love to take a couple laps with you in that thing.

Jeff, exactly. And a "sticky" sensation when the fluid gets hot, along with some groaning. I'm going to consult with Jeff at Turn One on it.

John - the car looks great coming out of that turn. (now my background) I wish I had been able to see you take it on the track Sunday. Maybe next year. It was good talking with you.

John, The Valvoline is good stuff. I had the same issue and a small cooler cured it.

I use the Red Line stuff.. supposed to handle heat well.

When Jeff rebuilt my PS pump he said I really wouldn't need a cooler. We shall see.
