      VENGEANCE, the project progress thread.......

last week was 1 year owning and bulding Venny up..

it was a good start when i got it.. so it translated well over the last year to get it looking like it does.. but there is still a long way to go..
so i decided to make the progress thread.

it started out like this... solid car almost no issues.

we go down to bodywork and fixing the little things.. the pans and floors were SUPER solid.. the guy who had her before me hardly drove it..

      all original panels..

Installed DSE minitubs, Shaved handles, custom phantom grille, Shaved front valance,
shaved here and there.. installed 911 Porsche seats.. Marquez Billet tails.. vanity VENOM1S plate..

when it was first rolled out of the garage painted.. borat seal of approval.

      bonnie showed up during..

Also Chris Alstons GBAR 4 link installed with new trunkpan.. SUCH a dope product..

Upper and Lower tubular control arms.. please ignore the dirty subframe.. that will come later.

Very nice indeed. Have you make all your posts this last year also? If so how did you find the time to work on the damn thing. Lol

I hope to see it at the year one event being driven hard. After all those new brakes want to flex their muscle.

Yea man ive only been posting on here prolly less than a year.. im such a post hoe.

nah i havent powdercoated the wheel.. i got a new set of wheels that look better black than the boyd do.. they are alittle more racey since some of the things i changed on the car is starting to go that route..

      ill post them up soon.

i also powdercoated all the chrome trim so now its almost completely blacked out..

      heres my seats..

the seats are from a early 911.. they suit the interior and stock dash perfectly because of its blockiness.

i kinda went to town this past year so thats why so much got done..

snapped a photo of my interior.. sorry for the weird lighting.

its dusty and i havent installed my pedals and Ididit steering column and shifter... seeing that it will have something in common with F1 racers soon.

and yes she is going to be driven.. and driven HARD!.. it isnt a show car but a driver that can be shown.. with a few scars.. street fighter style. but it prolly wont be done for year one unfortunatley.. but ill still be there.. besides.. needs big stopping power behind this 406.

Looks awesome! Very nice starting point. We should all be so lucky! The car looks simply sinister!

Whats the scoop on the front spoiler? I see carbon fiber. Did you make that piece or buy as is? Looks mean!

Car looks great - been meaning to get up to David's to see the new arrivals. Maybe in the next couple of weekends I will get up there to see it in person.

yea the thread i made a while ago about the black wheels made it happen.. looks to be that it was split down the middle for black or shiny..

in the end.. the sinister look the body already had.. Black was the way to go!
