      CS130 swap help

      Hey guys,

Through the help of this site, I have finally determined the wiring needs of my car. The car originally came with an amp meter. I know this uses a different method of triggering the field wire than a car with an idiot light.

I have determined that the original wire triggering the original 10SI field can be used at the "F" terminal of the CS.

My question is does the CS regulator need to see a minimum voltage to activate the field?

I have only been able to get about 11.5 volts to the "F" terminal because of a weak battery. I dropped it off for a trickle charge tonight.

      Thanks in advance,
      Shane

Just hook up the CSI to the origanl wirs for an SI series.
S term to battery post and field terminal to "12 volts" key on.
      Trust me it works.
Besides the amp guage doesnt work off of the field terminal.
