      Help Me Pick New Wheels

I'm in the process of putting on my 13/12 brakes on the Dart. My current 16s won't fit any more. I have tire sizes picked out -
275/40/18, and 245-255/40/18. I will use a lowering block to level the car, and maintain the front ride height.
I am looking for FR500s if I can find them in 18x8. OR....
CCW Classics or Boze Mesh. Both my choices have to have a satin black center. Any ideas welcome!

Nice Dart. Try taking a peek at the Intro lineup, I like the Mulhollands 5 and the Vikings. http://www.introwheels.com/w_exposed_5.php

I wound up ordering the black FR500 rims I wanted in the first place. I am having 2 of them narrowed to 8" to fit the front. With the $ saved on these, I may be able to do some more headwork....

No, I have ported edelbrocks, that were done by hughes years ago. In fact, they were the first set he ever did. I may have Ryan J go over them. Supposedly he can coax a little over 300 cfm out of the intake and 200+ from the exhaust. I am looking into the Edelbrock Super Victor intake too. The Feslers are real nice, but too much bling for me. I am running 3" studs all around, no centercaps on the wheels. All business...

They should be. Darts had the 5x4.5's and a smaller pattern, but the FR500's only come in 4.5. He should change if he has the small pattern. BTW, good choice on the heads. Hughes knows how to port and he told me the new Sper Vic Jr.s go perfectly with Eddy heads.

Kevin - I owe you one, and I don't even know you...I had to email Steve Rupp about your front wheels, it was killing me. He gave me the info on Weldcraft, and I am having rims drop shipped to them. I was very close to spending big bucks on wheels. My first choice was the FR500s anyway, and I bought a blemished one for fitmet. The fronts are going to fit fine, thanks to you..I'm using the same tire sizes also. Are you happy the with the BFG KD's??

Glad that I could help...did you have to remove the shoulder/lip that retains the center cap to the wheel? This lip contacted my hubs (Baer billet aluminum) preventing the wheel from going on all the way. So far the KD's have been great, they really stick and the car handles very well.

I had hubs made by a guy in Montana. They are set up for the Ford 2.780 pilot hole already. Its basically the same kit as Baer, but for less money, and without the poor customer service/attitudes of the Baer people...Are the KDs noisy? I'm ready to order...

I have read reviews that the KD's are noisy but I can not hear them over my exhaust...

I was just at Baer picking up my front and rear kit for my Cuda. They were all extremely nice and gave me a tour of the shop. Love to see another mopar getting built.

My setup is similar to the Baer, but cheaper...Uses the PBR stuff, 13/12, made by a guy in Montana. The car has been together for 22 years, just doing some winter upgrades.
