      Rear Length w. disc brakes?

Well it's time to order the Moser 12 bolt so my question is this.

With the stock 10 bolt the Boyd wheels I have would rub the quarter lip when I lower it. Wheels are BC Osiris 18x10 5.5"bs and the tires are 275/35/18 BFG KDW-2.

It appears that I could go in about maximun 1/4" and that would give me more room on the outside with minimal if any work to the lip.

OK, does converting to disc shorten the overall lenght versus drums???

Or should I order the 12 bolt a total 1/2" shorter?

Going with Wilwoods out back 12 or 13" rotors 4 piston setup direct from Moser.

      Thanks guys

Doing a disc.conversion pushes the wheels out about an 1/8 from the stock location.

Measure the distance you currently have to the inner fender. Remeber that these cars don't like much more than a 9.5" wide rear rim. You are pushing the tolerances. I had an issue with a 10" rim once on the rear. It hit the lips very slightly, but when I went up a driveway diagonally and the rear end articulated (drivers side went into bump and cambered) I got stuck with the tire buried into the inner wheelhouse. However, this was a 15x10 with a 295 50 tire. My advice is to measure well first.
