Thanks Bow Tie 67 and dropit69. After meeting all you guys at Pigeon Forge I knew I had to sign on to this forum!

As for the Mustang, I think we're going to wait a while, we're still in the process of selling our other house. Maybe after that's gone.

Thanks! I checked out your PT Garage and it looks like you're going to have a pretty nice ride when you get done!

Thanks bigblocktech, I'm glad you like what I've done with it. My 66 was in pretty sad shape when I got it way back in '97. It took about 4-5 years to get it on the road and I've been changing/adding things ever since.

It'll happen one day, besides, there aren't enough Elkys on the road so hang in there and don't give up!

Outstanding El camino, have you had it featured in any car mags? I swear I've seen your car somewhere. But I haven't been to the events you guys are talking about.

Thanks. If you're an ACES member, you may have seen it in the Sep/Oct '03 Chevelle World. It was also in the March '04 PHR and the January '05 CHP. It had its day in the limelight, now I get to drive it and enjoy it. It's been a Longhauler on the '03 and '04 Power Tours, a couple of Bristol Bashes, and the Richmond Super Chevy Show.

Thanks! When I started building my car I never intended to go as far as I did (I'm sure everyone's heard that before). The rough body needed some attention and once that started the project quickly got away from me and I ended up with a show level body work and paint job. I'm very happy with the end result but I really didn't want that kind of responsibility! Oh well. I've learned to grit my teeth and keep the hammer down when I get stuck behind big trucks and can hear rocks and crap hitting my car. Over the last few years I've gotten some pretty bad rock chips, but I guess those are badges of honor because it does get driven everywhere I take it! I appreciate your compliments.
