      Paint!!! Finally!!!!

Well...the guy came and picked up the car today. It's at the paint shop now where Matt will begin working on it Monday. Damn am I psyched!!!!! The old guy that picked it up (Don) was a nice guy but WOW could he talk. It took me 30 minutes to get him back in his truck so we could make the trip over. He kept talking and talking and talking and talking. Eventually I just went up to the house and hid in the living room until he was done strapping it down and sitting in the truck. My wife busted out laughing when she saw the name of his company on the door (2nd pic). Too funny. Because mine will be the only project he'll be working on, he estimated about 4-6 weeks to finish it (but I know not to count on that). After flip-flopping on the the color about 12,306 times...I have finally....FINALLY made a decision and it will be Viper GTS Blue. I'll be sure to keep you guys updated in the next few weeks with pics. It's finally happening. In the next month or so my car will cease being ugly for the first time in nearly 30 years.

Attaboy!!! Awesome news! I remember the same thing ... it's pretty cool looking at that empty spot and and trying to remember it being ugly.

I love the company name too. Way funny.

Good luck, and keep us posted on when the scrap metal Camaro gets back.

Looking at the shop it went to and seeing a car that is almost complete and looking nice, it would seem that your car is in purgatory and not paint Hell as many of us have experiences to remember from.

Goodluck and I hope it all goes well for you and the painter and it will come out as a little piece of heaven.

Thanks guys. I'll be droppin' by every Sunday with digicam in tow. It's nice that the guy is only 5 miles from my house.

Yeah, I know the feeling of the car just sitting in the garage.

This way to the bank. Just follow me!

Tony, if your project didn't have a name, it does now. What do you think?
I love the Viper blue, awesome choice. Of course, I am a huge blue fan.
      Congrats.

Ya know what.....I kinda like it too.

"Scrap Metal Camaro" it is. Parsons gets the credit.

      Signature changed accordingly.
