      Top Ten WORST Car Builders!!!!

The thread for the "Top Ten Best Car Builders" currently has 254 responses. Since people in general would rather piss and moan than give praise, how about everyone nominating the Top Ten Worst Car Builders!

Feel free to nominate yourself if you really think you are that bad!

I can't think of the rest, but did anyone list Cooter back in Hazard Co. for the Top ten. He is definately the best of all time. The Dukes gave him alot of work and it got fixed right everytime. What... what do you mean he isn't real? He's a senator now, dumbass. ;)

Pimp my rides crew..I want to see all of those cars they build after 1 year of driving them..not that they have been building them for the sharpest knifes in the drawer

I expect the large car makers should be left out of this but damn, I can't help myself but to mention a dishonorable vote for whomever penned the design for the Pontiac Aztec!

I second the vote for the Yugo.

I'd have to vote for the guys, whoever they may be, that "fix up" cool old muscle cars at any given cruise night. Went to one last night and was reminded of how many could be awesome cars are hacked up. It should be illegal to have a muscle car that has a re-paint, at any point in it's life, that you can see waves in from more than 20'.

When I was in college, a buddy bought a car that had been repainted...... With a brush. No kidding. It was a 76 Nova.

If we get picked for worst builder of the year, do we get an award? If so I'll take it. I'm definitely not the same caliber as Alan Johnson, Chip Foose, Kyle Tucker, Troy T., The Ring Brothers, Jeff Schwartz, Mark Stielow, Steve Strope, etc.

      1. Tie between: Fiat, Yugo, Seat, and any other car made by Fiat and sold under another name.

I grew up on Fiats, and think some of the designs and engineering are great, but the cars are actually built like crap!

I'm really, genuinely convinced that the award should go to either me or a friend of mine who shall remain nameless...me if the award is based on pure technical ability, my friend if it's based purely on the ability to take a good solid car and f*ck it all to hell.

Rick Dobbertin. The J2000 had no room for rear suspension, so he used VALVE SPRINGS!!

#4..Ol Steve's car be an Isetta..made by BMW..had a one door model that opened from the front maybe 2 little guys could get in it if it would pull them..and a bigger version that sat 2 or more..called 3 wheelers but actually had 2 close wheels on the rear

Hell we were all guilty of that kind of stuff when we were young....Black Mechanic that used to work at a big garage near my house when I was in my teens, looked at me and said..Bobby, you's like a possum..the older you gets, the stupider you gets..When I was 17 I bought a 50 Ford Coupe..had a 312 engine with 2 4's..blew it up...and tore out several transmissions..put a 406 with a single 4 barrl...blew it up...had transmission troubles until I put the big overdrive trans in it..put a 427 with 2X4's..4 speed and 9" rear..finally got it to stay together..I had gone thru 10 or so transmissions, 5 or so rear ends before getting something big enough to live in it. When I put the 9" rear in it, i let it down and the wheel wells were sitting on the tires..I got a string and soft pencil and scribed a semi circle on the fender and proceeded to cut out the fenderwell with a saw..Viola..cut right thru the sidewall of the tire..talk about a D/A...
