Looking for Cheap LED tail lights?

I found a neat little set of led tail lamps that you all could use in your camaros

      They are from Harbor freight
these lights are identical to some Ive sen posted in another thread for half the cost, about 50 bucks for 2 boards with 20 leds a board incl wiring Wait for one of the famouse Harbor freight sales and Ill bet they cost 30 to 35 a pair

These lights are for trailers. I know because I bought a set for my atv trailer and couldnt resist tearing them apart to see if I could use them for my camaro.

A link to the ones they look exactly like http://www.cool-leds.com/products.htm

      Hope this is usefull

I purchased a set from Theresa at http://www.americanautowire.com They are worth every penny I put into them IMO. They have 128 led's not just 20 that's in other brands. Your car is not a trailer. Save up your $$$ and get the best for your ride or you will not be totally happy IMO again. I think if you talk to Theresa real nice and tell her you are a member of PT, she might knock a little jing off the price.
Just a satisfied customer with AAW led lights.
      Thanks again Theresa.

What do you guys do about 'load' so that your flasher will flash?
led's don't draw any power to heat up the flasher.

Heh well one of two things
      1. A flasher that works with the low load drawin LED's
      2. A resistoer the same resistance of the bulbs you are replacing per side (I think around 8 Ohms) from the pos to gnd will work
      One per side of course

AAW sells the flashers that you need. I used 2, one for blinkers and one for hazard.

      69ratfed,
Did you change out the whole car to LEDs, or just the rear? Do the flashers compensate for LEDs in the back and bulbs in the front?

      fastcar68,

I have the Marquez Design front blinkers and the AAW led tail lights. The headlights are from DSE plug and play. Where the headlights are plug and play, that does not make any difference. AAW recommended that I use the their flashers to get the led's to flash. I can tell you that the led's outback really made a HUGE difference. If you cannot see the rear of my car now then you would have to be blind.
      I highly recommend them!!!
