      I Jes gotta Know

In case you're wondering, the reason I write about car shows so much is because it's the only time I really get to interact with others.
I don't see many people out on the ranch unless I go into town.

So I'm at the show yesterday. Yes, Thursday.
They had a show at a Technical College sponsered by the automotive department. I't a huge place....biggest in the state.
Anyway, I'm parked and showing the car and alot of really young people come by and look. Most in their teens....

Don't get me wrong.....I might be an old cadavar assed rasin but I do pay attention.
I understand that when alot of the youngsters look under the hood and
exclaim....."Main! Thas Dope, or "Mang, das da sheeat", it's not an invite to get into a fist fight.
So, while sitting there, these two young ladies walk up to look at the car.

Interesting dress codes at the school.

The first girl was wearing jeans that were so tight around the legs they could have been painted on. The bottom part was only big enough to contain only 2/3's of her behind and the front was so low that besides a full view of her b button, complete with a piercing that had a gold happy face dangling from it, you could see a considerable amount of hair polking out above the top of her jeans.
The rest of her considerable bulk was available to view hanging out between her jeans and a form fitting shirt that had the lower 1/3 missing.

The other girl was about 5'10" and looked like it had been a year since she had a good meal. Must have weighed 100 lbs wet.
She had more body piercing than I could count. As I stood there and talked to her, she told me that she was there for body shop and was in her second year.
I couldn't help but stare. She had at least sixteen little studs on each ear connected buy these little chains, one piercing through the right side of her nose, three in a little cluster on the right side of her lower lip and a great big gold one through her tongue.
It didn't stop there. She wasn't wearing a bra and it was plain to see a fairly large dog bone shapped piercing through each nip. Ouch!!!

On the flip side, both girls were very respectful and nice and it was great talking to them.
I just gotta know how they got sold on the fact that this kinda thing is attractive. So, you guys who are closer to them in age.......Is it? Is it attractive, I mean?
And I don't wanna hear, "to each his own", I'm here to learn....LOL

Second thing is, as their class mates walked by, they would call out to them by their last name and give them the finger. They would give them the finger back. It seemed like a universal greeting.

I always thought the finger was the finger. Could it be that chicks have been trying to hit on me all these years and I wasn't picking up on it??? LOL

Heck, I just thought it might be interesting to get a different perspective....

I am 42 and I like the girls with pink hair and tattoos, but the piercings dont do much for me.

The finger thing is likely just a greeting to show your cool.

I'm 33 and with the exception of the "tramp stamp", tatoos on chicks do nothing for me. As far as the hardware, not on the face, don't defile the boobies, but there are two other places that I dig. The belly button, and one other place .

I dunno the "jewlery box" never did it for me. I don't mind a small nose ring, and earings (obviously) are fine, but the rest make me nervous; like I might get snagged on something.

Tattoos on a girl I like (sleeves ) but not over done. What is a "tramp stamp"? (please don't answer if I'm going to regret asking that question.

As far as the finger thing: I guess all those drivers are were just saying hello?!?

a "tramp stamp" is any tattoo on the lower back/upper buttox area of said "tramp"

the tattoo is most commonly a symetrical tribal design.

As for my take on the girls with crazy hardware all over and multiple peircings, all it says to me is "I have a high tolorance for pain." and "I like to torture and mutilate myself." and "I looooooove attention."

The muffin tops are truly revolting, but at least the ugly clothes come off. The tattoos and piercings are forever. I have to wonder what these people are going to do when they are 40+ and starting to sag.

My best friend's daughter got a tattoo and was showing it to me. I asked her if she minded being a rorshach ink blot test (SP?) in 30 years. She gave me a puzzled look

I have never heard the term "tramp Stamp" until this post. For the record I think the term sucks!

A woman having a tattoo on a certain part of her body makes her no more a tramp than a tattoo on a man signifying that he has been to jail. Or that all Arabs are terrorists...or that all Jews are cheap...or that everyone that speaks with a southern accent is a redneck...or that all.......you get the idea...Stereotyping is dangerous.

You're entitled to your opinion. If you don't like the term, don't use it. I didn't coin the phrase, but I think it's funny, so I use it.
I did not post anything negative about the ink, it's location, or the ladies who chose to get it. As a matter of fact, I believe I said that I liked it.

Read my post again. My post wasn't accusing anyone of anything. I just said that the term in general assumes a stereotype. I quoted you because yours was the last post before mine. It's been removed so people do not think that it was anything against you. Cause it certainly wasn't.

Too funny. It is a greeting among friends.

That is NOT attractive. Too many peiercings and a bunch of tattoos is not attractive either. I have never understood making that type of statement. I have about 7 tatoos. A Quarter Sleeve(ish) and a half sleeve. Half Sleeve is a dragon's head. It looks like my arm comes out of his mouth. Nothing is visible from under a t shirt (maybe a little). No piercings (I took the tongue ring out 5 years ago)! My wife has 2. The so called tramp stamp and a small one on her upper back between her shoulder blades.

I remember a guy who worked at the drop zone years ago. He had 5 in his eyebrows, 3 in his tongue and ~20 in his ears with others I do not care to remeber and describe. We gave him crap about if he took it all out and jumped, whether or not he would whistle on the way down.
