Thanks for the encouragement every one. I will try to get some new pictures of the car next time I get it off the lift. I am working on the wiring and interior right now. I may install my old exhaust just so I can start driving it. Here is a picture Kurt sent me after the mini tub and four link install at his shop.

Here is a quick up date. I took the Firebird to Ring Brothers today to get the exhaust built. Hopefully they can get the exhaust built and back from the place that is doing the ceramic coating by the first of next week. Mike took a lot of time working with me to make sure we where both on the same page with what they were going to do for the exhaust.
I did get to visit with to Mike and Jim a little and got to take a peek at Razor. I had my 13 year old son Clayton along and both Mike and Jim took time to introduce them selves and shake his hand. I have known them for a long time and they are just the same nice guys they were way back when I first met them. My son was pretty excited after he saw Razor (as was I) what an unbelievable car.
The shop recovering my rear set said I should be able to pick it up Friday.
I am starting to get excided again about the car. For a while there it seemed like it would never get done and was just pure force of will that keep me plugging away at it. Working with Kurt Anderson from AutoKraft and now Mike & Jim sure seem to make life easier.
I will get some pictures of the exhaust and interior when I get it back home and post them. Steve

      Exhaust is on!

I got the car back from the Ring Brothers with the new exhaust installed. It has RARE ram are exhaust manifolds and an ovalized tubing X-pipe , Flowmaster mufflers and they custom built the tailpipes to work with the 4-link. Then it was sent out for ceramic coating and reinstalled. I decided that the fuel lines need to be redone so I have steel tubing and a tubing bender ordered so wish me luck with that project. I need to get this car done since i am registered for the TA nationals in Dayton on the 22nd and the ProTouring event in Sept. here are a few pictures of the system. Steve

I have been trashing on the Firebird for a couple of weeks when I had the time and I think its going to be ready and drivable for the Run Through The Hills event. I had to work a few nights past midnight and I took 3 days off work. It was not ready for the TA Nationals so I stayed home and worked on the car those days. I have about 200 miles on it now and I am pretty happy with it. I think I shocked a sport bike today leaving a stop light. I hung with him till about 60 and he started to pull away so I lifted. Although he may not have been trying very hard at first, it was fun for me. I can't wait for the 1/8 mile drag at RTTH. I have never been on a track before it should be a learning experiance for me and a blast. I just replaced the worn out manual steering box last night/this morning with one from Lee and man what a difference. It takes some shoulders and arms to muscle it around the twistys but the car finally does what its told. The 4 link is working great and the car really seems hook up much better than before and it rides and drive great(for a 68). If I don't break it before Sept 10th I should be on my way to TN. here are a few pictures. I still need to clean it up and bolt on a few things but this is pretty close to the finished product.

      PONTIAC Callouts on the bird.

I had the call outs put on the firebird today here are a few pictures. I still need to get the fender bird, firebird script and the 1/4 louvers on it but I like it so far. It gets called a Camaro too much with out the bird emblems.

nice looking car. I have a 68 of my own that I hope to begin working on again soon. Nice to see your progress, as it motivates me. Where you located in Ohio? I have family and friend's in Lebanon, and Middletown. I also know Doug Jarnigan from that area, who is a Pontiac collector.
