      Continental Extreme Contacts noise

Does anyone run these and do you have noticeable road noise? I have a set on my Camaro SS in ZL1 sizes and they howl worse than some of the mud tires I've had on my trucks.

I've noticed similar thing, can feel it in my steering wheel, ever so slight howl almost vibration.
I had the tires balanced twice , last time with Road Force machine but nothing changed.

I do like them though , the handling is good and the ride is great.
This car is 2011 BMW 535 which had Mich Super Sports, they ran smooth and quiet.

Conti has three styles of ExtremeContact tires, which are you having an issue with?

I've ran the DWS06 on a Caddy CTS-V, my wife's Honda Accord, and my bro-in-law put them on his Infiniti M56. No noise issues.

I currently have an older set of ExtremeContact Sports on my Cutlass, and I don't have any noticeable road noise, that I can hear over the exhaust at least

I have the DWS06 in 285/30r20 an 305/30r20. The car came with the same model tire in stock sizes that were quiet. That's what has me a bit confused.

Are the tires new? If so take the car back to the shop as there may be a defect in the tires.

If they are not and the noise came on noticeably and suddenly, there may be something else going on. Wheel bearings will also howl, as will a rear differential.

I've driven dozens of different vehicles on those tires (I used to work for Continental), and NVH performance has always been near best in class.

I agree that you likely have something else going on, especially considering your previous set of the same model tires on the same car were quiet.

I just put a set of the DWS06's on my CTS-V and they are very quiet. Nice tires
