      Metripack parts

I'm looking to purchase Metripack pieces and I see Summit has connector kits. Does anyone have an opinion on these? I'm not familiar with the supplier and would like to avoid buying junk. I did some searches but to no avail.
      Thanks in advance.

If it breaks I didn't want it in the first place.

I ordered this off of Amazon when I rewired my 55 Chevy this past fall. This kit did everything I needed it to do and I have zero complaints.

The kit you show looks good, just don't forget to get the special crimpers to make the proper connections with.

That’s Amazon kit is good deal! I just bought a single 4 pin Connector on EBay for $11!!

The summit kit might be a little better quality. I see the connectors have that extra back cover. I have notice some of the cheaper china pins are not as shiny and plastic polished. If it was for my Camaro, I’d pay the $80. General work….probably the Amazon.

The word you're lacking in your search is weatherpack. Google that and you'll get all the kits you want. I too order off amazon, some are hits, some are misses.

      MetriPack & WeatherPack parts; Mouser.com

The best source for MetriPack and WeatherPack parts is Mouser.com. The Mouser pricing is competative but the site is not user friendly; you'll need to know the specific part numbers for the connector shells and terminals to order what you need as Mouser doesn't sell "kits", but these are genuine Delphi parts (not Chinese knock-offs) that will crimp and assemble properly. I suggest you download the Delphi brochure on line to look-up the correct PNs before searching the Mouser site.

Mouser X2! I look up the parts I need on aptiv's site. Aptive makes the weather and metripack connectors. Then I order the parts. I keep some of both styles in tackle boxes.

Of course after I order the Summit kit more folks chime in! Well, Summit is good about returning things if it doesn't turn out to be usable.
      Thanks everyone.

I have used Metripack for years. Love it. I get nearly all of my components, Pack56 was well, from "The electrical Depot"

Google it and is should show up
