      Holley 1157 LED bulb?

I am wondering if anyone has any feed back on the Holley LED bulbs? I am trying to improve the brightness on my 69 Cutlass rear tail lights that no one seems to make a bolt in LED bulb (69 seems to be the only year unavailable).

Also, I am trying to remember which color I want to use in a Red factory lense. I am pretty sure to use white instead of a red bulb. Any info would be appreciated!

I haven't used the Holley bulbs but here's a link on what color bulb to use. Hope it helps.

For best results the LED color should be the same as the lens color or if bulb is behind a clear lens, use the appropriate color for turn and brake light functions. As an example: a red lens will filter out all but the red portion of the light so if the light is all red, none or very little light will be blocked by the lens. The light from a White LED contains very little light in the red portion of the visible spectrum so most of the light would be filtered out by a red lens.

I have no experience with the Holley bulbs, but I've been using these in my 69 Cutlass tail lights for 8 years and I'm very happy with them. I tried a few others before sticking with these.

I will say, the yellow/amber version did NOT fit in the front turn signal socket and I had to use something else.

Nick/Andrew, what kind of flasher are you using with that LED? Original style or newer electronic one?

Don't overlook the talights themselves. On my camaro I had to take them apart and paint the reflective part with chrome paint. Big difference.

I am using a solid state sequential tail light flasher unit.
