LS Chevelle swap AC fitment
Newbie to the site. I have a 71 Chevelle that's getting a LS/T56 swap. After searching various threads looking for answers I've come to the conclusion that using the Holley forward position mounts, 302-2 oil pan and probably their headers is the easiest way to go. Just wondering if anyone using those mounts in an A body is running the AC compressor down low on the passenger side. What compressor and mount are you using?

Many people have used the Holley mounts and they work very well.
Holley also makes a low mount for the AC that works with their high mount accessories.

I have a high mount ac bracket for sale in the classified area for early LS1 spaced accessories for cheap.

You need the SD-7 compressor for most low mount kits I have seen. At least with Holley and Dirty Dingo
