      Senior Master Sergeant (E-8)

      Hi guys!

I really am trying to be humble here but I'm just so damned excited about being promoted to Senior Master Sergeant in the Air Force today that I had to post and share this milestone in my Air Force career. Over 20 years active duty now...

I know how hard it can be to make rank and we're always proud of even the smallest promotions and accomplishments. Be very happy about it. Some never make it that far up the ladder. Now go celebrate....responsibly of course.:icon996:

Congratulations! I bet the pay raise doesn't hurt the car much either, eh?

How much time in grade do you need before you're eligible for E-9?(never was any good with AF rank structure)

      Thanks Everyone!!!

No need to thank me for my service though... I love what I do!
Always have and always will... it'll be tough when I finally do retire and have to figure out what I want to do when I grow up! LOL

Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) might be in the cards for me... who knows.
I'm definately going to give it a shot (or 3 or 4) before I retire. With a little luck maybe... time will tell...

Thank you all for your kind words!

As a vet I know I don't need to thank you, but I'm doing it anyway.
