Poly Loc Fail - Schumacher
I installed Schumacher poly loc engine mounts in my 73 Challenger. The pass side mount is failing. Rubber is pulling away from the lock portion. This is the squish side so I am surprised. Anyone ever see a fail like this. I am only running about 500 HP and 625 Tq small block. I dont race it. I do get aggressive now and then like everyone. I am thinking this is a one off defect. OR do I need to go to a solid rigid mount?

How old are these?
I would give the manufacturer a call and discuss it with them.

About 2 years old. 1,000 miles on em. Originally I had stock rubber mounts, which tore clean thru on my first or second launch. These held up a bit longer. I think I will install a replacement set and add a torque strap.
