      17x9.5 NO RUB 69

I have a 69 SS camaro. It is time for the wheels... How big can I go without mini tubbing the rear and not having any rub on the front?
-- Will a 17x10 in the rear stick out and rub on the fender rim?
--Will I need to remove the inner fender wheel wells on the front?
--Can you put 18's on the rear and 17 on front?
Has anyone used the combos or now someone who is?
Any pics of wheel combos on 69 Camaro appreciated..

Should I mini tub the car?

      Thanks for your help,, Paul

Well the prefered combo is 275's on 9.5 rim with 5.5 backspace on the rear. 235 or 245 up front with 4.75 or 5 in backspace.

I'm running 285 40 17 out back. My 69 is lowered so I did have to massage the fender lip a bit. 245 45 17 up front with 4.75 b/s, no rubbing.

      Pics in my vbgarage.
