EPAS in first gen camaro
Just wondering if anybody has tried adapting either an EPAS steering column into a first gen camaro, or maybe used an electric power assisted rack from a late model camaro in a first gen.
It seems to make sense to remove the hydraulic system from the engine compartment.
I see there are kits available through jegs etc for a column mount EPAS, but it looks like they require a fair bit of work to make them fit and operate.

Anyone done a conversion with parts available from the junkyard?
This technology has been around long enough that i thought i'd see it being used in the pro-touring scene by now?68 BB SS Camaro
