square VS staggered tire selection minor difference between sizes.

todays question has to deal with tires and staggered vs square. i know square is the popular answer but how much of a difference does it makes when say you have a 265 front and 295 rear or 275 F and 315 R. i know that if your drag race sizes with the skinny in the front its a problem. but when your off by less than 2 sizes can you feel it and is it noticeable?

It's not exactly clear what you are asking. Feel the difference in what way? Ride quality? Handling? Something else?

I run 295/35-18s in the rear and 275/35-18s in the front.

Difference in handling, I would think a difference of 1-2 sizes max would not be super noticeable.

It all depends on a host of suspension variables. With bigger rear tires there is obviously more traction in the rear, however balancing front and rear grip can be accomplished with sway bars and spring tuning.
