      Photoshop help bronze wheels

      Hey guys,

My Camaro finally got released from paint hell and now I'm re-thinking the color of my wheels. Do any of you Photoshop masters think you could change the wheels to a dark bronze. Every time I tried it comes out really flat. Help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't help with photoshop, but think its a great idea.

I have been looking at a few different gold colors to paint my rims also.

I can't remember the exact name but it's more of a forest green, I really like it. Oh and I won't have any chrome. Installed Felser's flush glass setup and couldn't be happier.

Beautiful car, awesome color. Wish I could help you with the photoshop.

If you remember or run across the paint color/code, please post it up.

I've never photochopped anything before, but after a Google University crash course I came up with this.

I did a search for "Gimp change color" and watched a short video (EDIT: You probably know this, but GIMP is a free alternative to Photoshop). Here's the first one that came up. https://youtu.be/pesMFQ39MK4

It's hard to get the color right. I see you're looking for a darker color, but it's hard to get the color to darken that much.

If you manage to get the color right, let me know how you did it. Seems like that would be a handy tool for the kit.
