      Baer Caliper Logo Delete

Has anyone ever tried to mill off the Baer Logo on one of their calipers? The Logo is recessed into the caliper, not raised. I was hoping there is enough material there to allow this. Caliper in question is the rears off a SS4 kit

Call Baer and ask them if you can mill it off without sacrificing strength

      Baer Caliper Logo Delete

If there's enough meat for the logo there will be enough to machine it off.

But you should call Baer to check, I agree

Thanks for the replies. I figured Id get a better reaponse here than calling baer. Not sure how much info theyre willing to give out with regards to removing their free advertising lol. My thinking was the same though, if theres enough material for the logo, theres enough to level it off.

What about filling it in and a finishing sanding/po;ishing or whatever instead of shaving? Just a thought.

I did think about that, but I want to powdercoat them after. Not sure if there are any fillers that will take the heat from that and from what the brakes will generate

Sounds like a lot of work for a questionable amount of perceived benefit...
