      Coach Controls wiring

I was just wondering if anybody has used Coach Contols wiring? I'm starting to think about wiring for my '55 Chevy. I'm considering mounting the fuse panel in the trunk, and they make a kit to do that. I like how it has the relays built in, it seems like it would help consolidate things.

My '55 will be an LS3, with all the usual stuff - A/C, P/W, fuel pump, Dual fans, Stereo w/ amp, etc. Would this harness be a good option?

On your '55 you'll have to look into what I offer for auto down/up power windows assuming your using a typical reverse polarity window motor!!

Looks like a pretty nice kit, at least giving it a glance on the website.

I agree with Andrew. GXL wire and all of the connectors provided are both a plus. I would have to say it looks to be on a par with American Auto Wire on quality and completeness. Let us know how it looks if you order one.
If you haven't looked at AAW's kits you may want to compare the contents. AAW includes a lot of components most others don't and they also have a long wire kit.

I bought an AAW Classic Update for my 65 Chevelle. I ended up hiring a guy to install it for me as I was running short on time (and expertise) to get ready for the GNRS this year. He ended up modifying the harness a lot to eliminate and/or add wiring and relays to make the installation as simple and clean as possible. He is the one who recommended the Coach Contols unit to me. He said he has installed the Coach Control many times on very high end builds and prefers to use that harness.
