      1971 Firebird Formula

Whats up guys, havent posted a car here in a while.. Well I have a 1971 Firebird Formula that was started back in Dec with Vince doing the DSE rear end ad mini tubs, and Don Sutton doing the paint.. Its gonna be a nice runner, I bought Big Baer brakes, had the front subframe powder coated, DSE sway bars, smoothed firewall, DSE brake booster, AGR steering box, Fikse 18x12 and 18x9 wheels, Anvil Carbon Fiber trunk lid.. Its gonna get a LSA I think, not really sure..

Here are some pics of it to date, I first bought it just as a shell... we did the firewall first, than Vince @meanstreets replace cowl, trunk pan, and did DSE sets ups..Than Don replaced both quarters and tail panel, than did an AMAZING job on paint.. he is by far one of the best around.. ohhh and he sold me my dream car a 1971 Z28... I will be buried in that car

Looking great! Lot's of good stuff happening to that F-body.

If by chance you have the original air cleaner (dual snorkel) and auto shifter and willing to part with either, please let me know.

Man, Im feeling dumb... what is Torsion bar rating??

Here are the specs.. from the box itself..

These Resto-Boxes feature quick ratio 12:1 or variable 13-16:1 gearing and sport valving found in our Billet boxes but in an OEM style trim. We use OEM 4 bolt top covers and OEM end caps and add an OEM-look finish. This is the perfect box for the restorer looking for a high performance box while retaining the original factory look.

      Fitment is as follows:
      12.7:1 ratio
3 bolt L pattern inside the frame mounting
      SAE 11/16 Flare Pressure fitting
      SAE 5/8 Flare Return fitting
      13/16-36 spline input

The hood looks great! I like the color choice, White always looks good on a firebird for some reason.
