      t56 help

Im installing a new t56 seup behind an ls9. I bought an entire "kit" from one of the forum sponsors and have ran into a few snags.. im overlooking something here but cant figure it out. This is a brand new t56, quicktime bell, new clutch, billet flywheel, new stock gm throwout bearing. The first attempt, i had the bell bolted to the engine and hanging from a hoist with the trans on a rolling cart. I can get it as close as you see in the pics, then its like its hitting something.. the first time i thought it was just that tight because it was all new, but when i started to tighten it down it broke the throwout bearing retai er snout. I took it all back apart, took the bell off, with it like this the trans will bottom out in the pilot bearing and clutch spline with no issues. I then reinstalled the bell and rechecked measurements, everything looks fine. Try volting the trans back up, same thing. After three more time of taking it apart and trying again i gave up and turned the engine up on its front with the bell facing straight up, hoping to eliminate any misalignment problems. The pics i posted are with it sitting like that. This is as far as it goes. The dowels are fine. I cant see what has it in a bind. It acts like its something in the pressure plate but in at a loss... any ideas?
