I think that the April PHR is going to cover Bob's car pretty throughly. There are a couple pictures of it in the March issue too.

He said in the thread he was WANTING a protouring car, so the thread was moved there. This was his first post, so I do not know him, however I sent him a pm. I will let you know his reply or he may just post up in his thread.
You are correct though, killer bike, and the girl is fine too!

Keith Turk from the ECTA Maxton N. C. came by Alan Johnson's shop to inspect the Cuda and advise us what needed to be done to get it to pass inspection for a 200 + MPH run. We are going to put in a supplemental bolt in main hoop for the cage, install a window net, add another fire system for under the hood, get a chute..we already made provisions to mount it..secure the front and rear windscreens, racing seat..few other misc and sundry items..Hoping to have it ready for the first meet that Hot Rod Magazine will cover..I think Hunkins is going to be there also. Poteet and Trepanier are trying to get their Bonneville Cuda ready to test there too. Rabbit says he's going to break 200 for the first time there with his 29 roadster.he has run 230 something @ Bonneville..holds records at both places with his backyard built hot rod. I'm trying to get Jeff Isaacs to get on here with his yellow 69 Camaro that was in PHR a few months back..It holds several records at Maxton and he regularly drives it on the street around here. It's a budget build that is very fast and cool. Rabbit did the chassis and suspension. Another buddy of ours has a 55 Ford F1 pick-up..2003 cobra blower motor..6 speed..whole rear cradle out of the mustang..pro-tour pick-up..Rabbit built it too.

It's about time this thread turned back into a discussion about your cuda. Speaking of which, does that car have a nickname? I'm tired of saying "The Alan Johnson/Bob Johnson (no relation) 'cuda" when I talk about the car to my homies.

      How about: "cudafedasmallthirdworldnationinstead"

I'm a redneck, but I'm not so redneck that I name my cars. Heck, I never even named my D*CK..John Hunkins named the Cuda The G-Force Cuda..Scott Parkhurst named my Camaro Battle Axe.(after my wife I think)..My 48 Ford woodie was Sportin Wood...no one named the others.

      ?

Bob what was wrong with the main hoop that was in the car? Was it the carbon fiber inlays the reason?

      G-Force Cuda works for me.
What will you run for wheels and tires at Maxton? How big are dem brakes? Will you change the gearing? Is the car running yet? Have you driven it? Why do cows sleep standing up?
