Comp cam ?

I may be buying 2003 lq9 with a comp cam in it. Here is a picture. I want to know if it is good for possibly a turbo project and or just any info. The engine was just rebuilt with comp cam .592 intake .602 exhaust and has 10:1 compression. Bored .020 over, 317 heads with allot of porting and decked .030. New lifters trunnion kiy done to rockers. New push rods btr springs and retainers. New holly oil pan. This is quoted from the seller. He stated the the engine should make 450hp to the wheels. Is this engine at its max or is there room for improvement? II am looking for 550hp at wheels and possibly doing aturbo. Thanks guys.

You likely won't get 500+ to the wheels with 10.0 compression.
I haven't tried searching those cam numbers to see what the duration is but I do know that Comp is pretty helpful with their tech support and they could probably tell you if it'd work out well or not.

Best I can find is that it's around 230/236 duration. 450rwhp is probably the max with that cam and the 10:1 comp.
Throw a cam in the 240-245 range and you'll pick up a bit. Depending on the intake manifold you have, then you could even go a little bigger cam than that.
Turbo it and you'll hit the 550rwhp. Pretty hard to hit that number naturally aspirated unless you have a big cam, and higher compression.

Isn't 10:1 a little high for a turbo, or can you take care of that with a cam to bleed some off ?
