      steering wheel question

not sure is this is the right place ot post this but i have a 68 cutlass and with my seat all the way back my steering wheel is still a lil too big for me to comfortably & easily get in the car and when driving the car it feels like the steering wheel is sitting in my lap.

i would like to upgrade to a smaller aftermarket steering but want to know how small is too small and for handling and performance is there a particular size i should get?

i also have the jeep cherokee box upgrade on it for quick ratio.

I have this wheel in my GTO:

I believe it is 15" diameter. I like it a lot, but I also have a tilt column. As for driving, it is perfect.
