      Ideas for T5 Shifter Boot

I'm looking for ideas on how to seal the gap between the floor and my shifter. I installed the shifter and the T5 transmission this week. The brass colored ring around the top of the shifter is large and will not fit under a stock boot. Additionally, I'd prefer to use the stock bolt holes instead of drilling new holes as I just replaced the entire floor.

I think I'll ultimately build a console to cover everything up so I'm mostly looking for a way to seal air and fumes from coming into the cabin. Any ideas?

How about using a Fox body rubber boot and making your own retaining ring?

A stock Fox body rubber boot might work. I wonder if the raised circular portion of the fox boot would be large enough for my aftermarket shifter. The shifter is a Pro 5.0 shifter. I'll see if I can't find something on the internet which states.

      Still open for other ideas...

What about a Spectre or Mr gasket boot from O'reillys or Autozone? You could either make your own trim ring or use large washers and punch holes in the rubber to bolt through.

After a little searching, it looks like the lower boot Andrewb70 suggested would work best. I think I'll go this route. Thanks for all the suggestions.
