As someone who has had to bury one of his own childeren, let me offer this,

No matter how bleak and awful this gets, stay close. When my tragedy happened almost everyone I knew disappeared in the months after the funeral because they didnt know what to say and didn't want to be around us. Be there for them. From experiance, this is, without question, the worst thing that can ever happen to them , or anyone. There just aren't words to express how sorry I am for them.

the world just got a little darker.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

I lost my father a couple of months ago and it was very difficult but I could not imagine the pain one would endure losing their child. Our prayers are with you and your family.

      Thanks

We buried little Seth on Wed.
I would like to share a positive thought and observation that I experienced while coping with this tragedy.
I saw a side of humanity that I had all but forgotten exists.
We all get caught up in the hustle and bustle of our personal and business lives. We tend to focus on all of the crazy things going on in the world. I was amazed and overwhelmed by all of the loving, caring and considerate people that have expressed their thoughts and prayers. It has restored my faith in my fellow man.
I thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

I'm always saddened and angered atthe same time when ever I hear of things like this happening. We loose countless children here in Florida each year to this very same thing. People with pools, with or without children, need to have protective fences around there pools. I'm very sorry for the loss of your nephew. Very sad time indeed. Watch over your children as much as you can and love them every moment. Even when you find your Muncie needle bearings all over the garage floor and your son having a ball watching them roll all over the floor

I remember when my three children came into this world. Losing any of them would Kill me if not for my faith. Us believers know how God himself must have felt when he lost his son. I will commit to pray for you and your brothers family.
