      Project Shortbox Brawler '85 C10

Hello, I've been on this forum for a while just looking at everyone elses builds mostly I work at a chassis shop that does mostly drag cars/ rollcages
well this is my truck I'm in stage 2 now, I started stage 1 when I was 15 (2 years ago)
Stage 1 included a cammed 5.3 LS and a 4L60e swap and vintage air
I've since bought a short bed frame
My plan for the frame is to use porterbuilts front and rear coil over suspension
      Strange 9"
      Brembo brakes
      T56
      6 point cage
      and a N/A stroker LS

      Stage 1

      STAGE 2

Cool. I really like the square c10's. I have this crazy idea about doing one with upgraded front suspension and c4 or c5 corvette or gen 5 irs out back.

One of the guys from a local car show I go to regularly keeps trying to get me to do a c4 IRS bit I think it'd be better suited with a good chunk of weight over it

Nice work on the dash. I like those gauges.

So far the work very nice and clean.

If my math works correctly, your 17. I'll think back to when I was 17 and I'm pretty sure building a truck like this wasn't top of my priority list.

Thanks that means a lot. Work and building this truck is my first two priorities. Most people are surprised that I did the work on my own dime. I've been getting lots of ideas from a lot of truck builds on this site . I want to include my favorite parts of them all into my own build. Hopefully it'll make for an awesome roadcourse truck. When it gets there

Black again . My paint was still original on my 85 so it needed it pretty bad.
