      General EFI Question

      Hello Everyone,

I am contemplating changing my carb setup on my '69 Camaro to EFI. I have a two-year old GM crate zz383 stroker in the car now, coupled to a Keisler RS400 five-speed. It is running a 3:42 posi 12 bolt GM rear end. I have researched and read as much as I can find on various systems, but think that I like the Holley Stealth Ram (polished). I plan to change the fuel tank with internal pump when I make the change. Here is my question:

Does anyone have good/bad experience with the Holley Stealth Ram? Can you please summarize?
With your current knowledge, which system would you choose if making a similar change over?

      Thanks!

      Chris

It's hard to go wrong with any holley set up. the Stealth ram should give you very good low end power, good for driving on the streets.

The StealthRam is a solid intake and the new Holley EFI is excellent. I recall the Chevelle that Mark Stelow build a while back used the StealthRam intake as part of his twin turbo set-up.

We have sold several of the Holley EFI Systems. They have been installed in classic muscle cars, race cars, and even a boat lol. While I'm not a huge fan of the StealthRam intake manifold, Iit would be a good kit to install. Another option would be the MPFI 1000cfm 4150 style kit. If you have specific questions, feel free to ask. We are the largest Holley EFI dealer in KY.

Thank you, Derek. I've gone from the 4150-style and Inglese 8 stack to a full LS3 conversion and finally, the Holley Stealth Ram. Performance is critical, but so is the "look." From the limited research that I have done, the Holley has both the performance and visual appeal that I am seeking. I have looked at Jegs and Summit and realize that I simply don't know enough to buy the right system. So, I will definitely reach out to you! I would much rather buy from someone who is active in the sport and on this board than a plain parts house.

Thanks Andrew! Everything that I have researched says the same thing--Holley is great. I am running a 770 Holley on my Camaro now.
