Was it at least a direct fit radiator? Just wondering.
Also what was your on/off fan temps and what thermostat?
Did buying the other set of fans fix the problem?

I had overheating problems with my car. I had a 160 t stat and changed it to a 187 and no problems now, but that may have been because of air bubbles when the 160 was in it. Also my gauge reads higher than what it shows on hp tuners.

180 degrees and they change it to make sure and the fan have to relays he use some cheap fans I'm making over 450 hp at the rear wheel and he said both fan run combine 2500 cfm he should have know that's not enough to cool then the fans he use was from RPC $42 for each fan I'm just really upset and now he saying his shop will be close all next week he would have had a good customer at lamar waldon automotive a very respectful shop never again.

So was it the fans or the radiator or both? Did it over heat while sitting still with the fans running? How about on the highway or cruising? Were the fans moving the air in the right direction? And what did you swap to solve the problem?
