Damn true I am planning to run a s/d sticker at my next event, dont think i stole your idea.

I am not big on the name idea, dont want to be the guy with "the annihilater" airbrushed on my spoiler.

I do like low key names like thrasher.

You may have to battle Bill for that title. I suggest you settle by Indian leg wrestling.

I don't think I'll ever name my car. I think it's kinda lame. Then again I won't even call my car a pro-touring car either when it's done. It is what it is, nothing more!

I suppose this isn't any different.

Having a project name that is well-known is easier to use when tallking about specific cars. We could say "Mule", or we could keep saying "That silver 1969 Camaro with Fikses and twin-turbos that Stielow built". Those in the know hear "Mule" and instantly know what you are talking about.

pick a name that describes the character or style of your car.
Couldnt have said it any better myself.
When it came to naming my car, I didnt ask anyone for help. It just came to me. I thought about it for probably a year before it just clicked since I wasnt ever sure if I should name my car or not. Then like Tony said, more and more silver cars started appearing. You could also pick a name that fits on a license plate.

Actually, someone came up with a cool name for the GTO. I am sorry I can not remember who it was, I think it was in the chat room a couple weeks ago. If whoever it was speaks up, I will give them the credit.
The GTO will be........... drum roll...........................

To be clear the point of this post was not to seek help naming my car....I have no intention to do so unless something brilliant comes to me (not likely), but to explore the reasons why others do, and how they arrive at them.

Nah if you named your car G-spot your taking a chance on never finding it, or only being able to hit it when the miss's says so.

Good point. Though I am thinking that G-spot maybe a perfect name for the car. She and I have been talking about it quite a bit.

After all, I am blessed with a significant other that not only wants me to play with the G-spot, she wants me to play with it as often as possible. In fact, from time to time she wants me to play with it and I am simply too tired to do so.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

Ha! Too funny, along with being a very special place for lots of women, this is also the name of the surf break I learned to surf at in Del Mar! It's a good one!
