Thank god it's rare because it is hideous..

And you could order just about any color special from the factory.. even pink (think mary k)

As for the spoiler.. yea.. the stripe looks all wrong..

I am pretty sure the pink is a factory color, I know Chevrolet built trucks in a pink color around the same time period. I think the color name is "coral pink" or something like that.

Playboy car maybe???????? Dont just push it off as a load of "crap",lots of no paint code/special paint cars were made in those days. Then you could get any color combo you wanted no matter how crazy even colors not for that car or no paint at all.....just primer.

the thing is, yeah the color is not too great but the car is pretty nice overall. Looks well detailed compared to the other cars on ebay.

he claims he has a picture from new and shows a pic of the POP and probably has other paperwork from the original owner... so why do think its not for real again???

i guess the dealer molded the spoiler to the body with the ends of it cut off..i can see getting whatever color you wanted at that time..and im not saying the car is a piece of crap..the claims that the car is factory original is crap...imo

Since we're being critical. Stripes are wrong and the tail is blacked out(which was only done on big block cars). I'm thinking this may be more of a dealer thing rather than a factory thing. I'd really like to see the build sheet.

      Houndstooth interior in a 68?

I thought houndstooth interior didnt show up until 1969? Something just seems weird about the interior. Headrests maybe or lack thereof?
I am no Camaro expert but just seems weird.
